A holiday in Oman is a journey through a country filled with culture, beautiful nature and very hospitable people. It is one of the most authentic Arab countries and it houses a variety of flora and fauna. You will find extensive deserts such as the Sharqiya desert in the northeast and the much larger Rub al-Khali in the south of Oman. Afterwards you can marvel at the green wadis which you will find throughout the country between the mountains and the coast. These wadis give you the opportunity to undertake exciting hikes and fun adventures.

In addition to all this natural beauty, you will find picturesque villages such as Rustaq, Bilad Sayt and Ibra. Wandering through those streets will introduce you to the daily arabic life and you will learn about many Omani traditions.

During a trip through Oman, an extensive visit to the capital Muscat cannot be missed. It is best to plan a full day to explore the white city. Muscat is a vast city located on the Gulf of Oman. The souq of Muttrah is a must-visit and the Grand Mosque can of course not be missed.
