The Best of Israel, Jordan and Egypt

In the morning you will meet our local Israeli guide. Together with the guide you will explore the old city of Jerusalem. The old part of the city is divided in four quarters: the Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Armenian quarter. The history of the old city dates back to 1004 BC when King David founded Jerusalem. The old city of Jerusalem has a lot of stories to tell, according to your interest we will put together a plan for the day with a guide. You will visit the Mount of Olives, the via Dolorosa and the church of the Holy sepulcher. This will be a intense but unforgettable day.

You are going to spend a full day in Jordan’s most important desert: The Wadi Rum. This beautiful desert is a spectacular piece of nature and is known for its rock formations.

This morning a camel tour through Wadi Rum is on the program. During the tour you will see the breathtaking desert with its sandy valleys and sandstone mountains. At the end of the day, you will fly from Amman to Cairo.

Today you are in the capital of Egypt, Cairo, a chaotic but charming city. Here you can visit the Citadel of Salah el Din. From here you have a wonderful view over the skyline of Cairo. Besides this, the citadel houses the Mohammed Ali mosque with its four recognizable minarets.

Afterwards you can visit the busy Islamic quarter, this is within walking distance from the mosque. You will finish your day at the largest market in Africa, the El Kahlili Soukh, an unforgettable experience. Today you can also visit the Egyptian Museum, one of the most famous museums in the world. After your visit you will understand why.

Today you will leave the capital behind and visit the Pyramids of Giza. Just outside Cairo you will visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Kephren and Mykerinos. This UNESCO Site is home to three great Pyramids, of which the Giza Pyramid is the largest. The Giza Pyramids need no introduction, the largest and most famous monuments of antiquity and the sole surviving of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. On the Giza plateau you will also find a number of smaller buildings that are called the Pyramids of the Queens. Finally, you will visit the famous Giza Sfynx. The Cheops pyramid is the only one of the seven classical wonders of the world that can still be visited today.

Unfortunately your trip is coming to an end today, but you can extend it by the Red or Mediterranean Sea. One of our local representatives will pick you up from your accommodation and bring you to the airport for you flight back home.
