After arriving in Tel Aviv, you travel to Jerusalem and from here the tour continues to the north of Israel. This is where you will find the third largest city of the country, Haifa. These three major cities each have their own character and charm. In Jerusalem, you will experience authentic Israel and be embraced by history. In Haifa you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and beautiful nature in the north. Tel Aviv is a trendy, liberal and cosmopolitan city where you can immerse yourself into the nightlife or enjoy Israel’s best restaurants.

Itinerary

Flight to Tel Aviv including meet & assist and airport transfer to Jerusalem

Today you will arrive at the international airport of Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion. Our local representative will be waiting for you here. You will be guided to your driver who will transport you to the hotel.

After checking in you can spend the rest of the day in the city. We can give you plenty of suggestions for a nice dinner on the first evening.

Jerusalem optional visit with guide

Optional program: in the morning you will meet our local Israeli guide. Together with the guide you will explore the old city of Jerusalem. The old part of the city is divided in four quarters: the Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and Armenian quarter. The history of the old city dates back to 1004 BC when King David founded Jerusalem.

The old city of Jerusalem has a lot of stories to tell, according to your interest we will put together a plan for the day with a guide. You will visit the Mount of Olives, the via Dolorosa and the church of the Holy sepulcher. This will be a intense but unforgettable day.

Jerusalem - Masada - Dead Sea - Ein Gedi pick up rental car

After breakfast it is time to leave the historic city of Jerusalem and head towards Masada and the Dead Sea.

Masada was built by king Herod and it served as the last stronghold from the Jews against the Romans. Nowadays you can visit the historic ruins. There are two ways to go up: you can walk the so-called ‘snake path’ or you can take the cable car. Are you a looking for a challenge? We dare you to climb the mountain early in the morning, before sunrise. From the top of the citadel you have a magnificent view over the Dead Sea area and its surroundings.

After this visit you can go to the National Park of Ein Gedi with beautiful natural springs and waterfalls. This evening you will stay at the Kibbutz Ein Gedi. It is a nice local experience. From here you can also visit one of the beaches at the Dead Sea, as they have a train running between the accommodation and the beach.

Ein Gedi - Nazareth - Tiberias optional visit to Gan Hashlosha National Park

In the morning you can visit the nature reserve of Ein Gedi. There are two hiking options. The first one only takes 1,5 hours. The second, more advanced hike takes 3 to 4 hours in total.

Afterwards it is time to head north. You will pass Nazareth where you can visit the Church of the Annunciation. The last stop of the day is Tiberias where you will stay the night. At the end of the day you can visit the famous Golan Heights where many nature reserves can be found.

Tiberias - Acre - Haifa optional diner or lunch at Uri Buri Restaurant

Today your trip will continue to Acre and Haifa. In the morning there is time to visit the beautiful old town of Acre.

A visit to Acre is an important part of the Israeli experience. The city serves as a meeting point for east and west, old and new, beauty and ruins. This is what makes Acre so unique. The city offers a variety of tourist attractions making it a bustling city and definitely worth a visit. At the Efendi Hotel you will find a great restaurant called Uri Buri. A visit to this authentic restaurant is an experience in itself. We can make a reservation for lunch or diner.

When you have seen enough of Acre it is time to discover Haifa. This city is only 20 minutes away. Here you can visit the Baha’i temples and gardens. The Baha’i religion is known as the youngest in the world. Walk around the charming old German neighborhood or have a cup of coffee at the rooftop terrace of the Colony Hotel. This hotel is only a 5-minute walk away from the Baha’i Temples.

Haifa - Caesarea - Tel Aviv hand in rental car

From Haifa you will travel to Tel Aviv today. On the way you can visit Caesarea. Here you can find remains of the Hippodrome, theater, and palace build by King Herod the Great. The harbor of Caesarea has evolved into a vibrant area where you can have a drink or bite.

Tel Aviv is only 40 minutes away. This bustling city represents modern Israel and is the last stop of your round trip.

Tel Aviv – Jaffa – Tel Aviv optional (bike)tour with guide

After breakfast you can explore the modern city of Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv emerged as a suburb of one of the oldest cities in the world: the 3000-years old city of Jaffa. Nowadays Jaffa is one of the suburbs of Tel Aviv and well-known for its oranges. Visit the old city of Jaffa and stroll through the narrow streets with plenty of shops, galleries, restaurants and small markets. Be sure to visit the flea market and the old port of Jaffa. You can also rent bikes here and cycle along the boulevard of Tel Aviv, which is 13 kilometres long. Or you can go relax at the beach. There is plenty to choose from!

Tel Aviv – flight back home including airport transfer

Unfortunately your trip has come to an end. Approximately 3 hours before your flight departs, you will be picked up by one of our drivers who will take you to the airport. Hopefully you have had an amazing time in Israel!
